If you could just appreciate ONE thing everyday, you will be happier day after day!
I started this project back in January 2019, when I was going through a period of anxiety. To overcome that, I figured I could use some positive distractions by drawing a Happy Thing (literally an object) that comes to mind every single day, for at least 365 days. This became my daily gratitude practice and throughout the process, I’d improved my digital illustration skills, and took the concept from simple line art, to painting realistic shadows, highlights and textures. It was a very therapeutic process for me, and definitely improved my mental health and the way I look at people and things around me.
I hope it makes you happy looking at my HETs, just as much as I did while creating them.
